What's Your Perspective?
No one sees the exact same picture of the future. . .
I heard the story of four men who were gazing at a sunset in a national park in Utah.
One of them was an artist and exclaimed, "This would make such a gorgeous painting. Just look at those dazzling hues!"
Standing next to him was a geologist, who observed, "Isn't it fascinating how the sun is reflected against the rock formations in the mountains?"
The third person present was a poet. He contemplated, "A setting sun always reminds me of the beautiful ending of one phase of our lives, and the beginning of another stage at sunrise."
The final member of the group, a businessman, stared at the colorful sunset and blurted, "What a great view. I'd love to build a hotel right on this spot!"
