DO YOU KNOW HIM?

Well, I wonder if you know Him.

Do you know my King? David said, "the heavens proclaim the glory of God; the skies declare the work of His hands (Psalm 19:1).

My King is the Sovereign King - no means of measure can define His limitless love: no far seen telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of His shoreless supply; no barriers can hinder Him from pouring out His blessing. He is enduringly strong, entirely sincere, eternally steadfast, immortally graceful, infinitely powerful, impartially merciful, my King!

He is the greatest phenomenon that ever crossed the horizon of this world; He is God's Son, the sinner's Savior, the Centerpiece of Civilization. He stands alone in the solitude of Himself-august, unique, unparalleled, unprecedented, supreme and preeminent.

He's the loftiest idea in literature, the highest personality in philosophy, the supreme problem in higher criticism, the fundamental doctrine in true theology, the Miracle of the Ages, the superlative of everything good that you choose to call Him. He's the only One qualified to be our All-Sufficient Savior. I wonder if you know Him today.

He's the only One able to supply all our needs simultaneously. He supplies strength for the weak. He is available for the tempted and tried; He sympathizes and saves, strengthens and sustains. He guards and guides; He heals the sick, cleanses the lepers, forgives the sinners, discharges debtors, delivers captives. He defends the feeble, blesses the young, serves the unfortunate, regards the aged, rewards the diligent, beautifies the meek. Do you really know him?

My King is the Key of Knowledge, The Wellspring of Wisdom, the Doorway of Deliverance, the Path of Peace, the Roadway of Righteousness, the Highway of Holiness, the Gateway of Glory, He's the Master of Mighty, the Captain of the Conquerors, the Head of the Heroes, the Leader of the Legislators, the Overseer of the Overcomers, the Governor of the Governors, the Prince of Princes, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, my King! My King's office in manifold; His promises are sure; His light is matchless; His goodness is limitless; His mercy is everlasting. His love never changes; His Word is enough, His grace is sufficient; His reign is righteous; His yoke is easy; His burden is light. I wish I could more adequately describe Him to you but He is indescribable. He is God.

He in incomprehensible, invincible, irresistible! The heaven of heavens cannot contain Him, let alone a man explain Him. You can't get Him out of your mind. You can't outlive Him or live without Him. The Pharisees couldn't stand Him but found out they couldn't stop Him. Pilate could find not fault in Him; Herod couldn't kill Him. Death couldn't handle Him; the grave couldn't hold Him. He always has been and always will be. He had no predecessor and will have no successor. You can't impeach Him, and He's not going to resign for His the Kingdom, the power and glory, forever. That's my King!

We talk of black power, white power, green power. We try to get prestige, honor and glory for ourselves, but the glory is all His forever and ever and forever. How long is that? Ever and ever and ever and forever, and when you get through with all the forevers then. Amen. That's my King! Crown Him with many Crowns! Crown Him with many Crowns!
